I can't release too many details without checking with the source, but I just got the news that my sweet friend S. (whose gorgeous belly was featured last week) had her baby yesterday. She was receiving quite a bit of pressure to induce at 41 weeks ("advanced maternal age" and pressure from the backup physicians on the group of nurse-midwives). However, she had the natural, out of hospital birth she wanted--and birthed her 11 lb 8 oz (5.35 kg) baby in 2 hours!!!
Way to go, Superwoman!
